Looking for a professional writer who’s fun and creative?

I’ve written hundreds of hours of children’s television programming from preschool to precool to tween to teen. I’ve jumped into first seasons or mid-seasons and am always able to adapt to the show’s style and characters seamlessly.

That means I’ve been in a lot of writers’ rooms. I’m always happy to be there; meeting new writers and making great shows together is my thing.

As a head writer and executive story editor, I’ve worked on many shows that I’m so proud of. I love developing a show with creators, producers, and directors while navigating the story team onto production and throughout. Running writers’ rooms and interacting with clients in town, on zoom or overseas. Collaboration is key for me; I thrive on it!

From a blank page or a t-shirt? Making magic!

Are you looking for the next big franchise or a new unique property?

One of the most rewarding parts of my job as a writer is creating new ideas, characters, shows and worlds. It can be something created totally from scratch or in the case of Ruby Gloom, we took a t-shirt brand, and turned it into a really cool show.

We also produced a musical special called “Hair-Less, the Musical” which I won a Gemini for Best Original Music Score for an Animated Series with Tom Szczesniak & Ray Parker.

Ruby Gloom is a viral hit online – even now, over 15 years later, it has millions of followers, tons of fan art and fandom. There’s a campaign to bring it back!

I love getting into the nitty gritty of a new show idea, finding out what its DNA is and what makes it tick. Getting into the weeds and then coming out again with a better product. It’s always worth the work.

I’ve created and developed original series, written feature films, plays and musicals. I also have new show pitches I’m currently selling at markets. Bottom line, I can create from the blank page or anything you put in front of me. Let’s do this!
